                    Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW)  is a subject in Indian  schools where students can choose from a number of vocational education  activities    - gardening, cooking,   painting  carpentry and other crafts and hobbies, and clubbed community service for school students . Students learn to work as a team and to work with skill and deftness. SCHOOL VISIT

                The curriculum of our B.Ed education has given a chance to understand and to be a part in the formation of a child in the school. We the B.Ed students of batch 2017-2019 of Sree Narayan Guru kripa B.Ed college has visited Lekshmi Vilasom High School Karoor , Pothencode. The school visit was scheduled from 8th January-12th January 2018. The five days were arranged in a way to interact with the school environment and it's day to day functions. And during these days opportunities were given to engage classes and also to interact with students. During our school visit, we observed classroom patterns, mid-day meal, students creativity, resourcefulness, teaching methodology of high school. ONAM CELEBRATION - 2017

                                  Onam was celebrated in SNGK on 30th August 2017. The celebration started with setting up an attractive floral decoration (pookalam) in the college entrance.The staffs and students presented various programmes highlighting the culture and tradition of Kerala .The traditional Onapattu, Thiruvathirakali and Naadanpattu were also part of the programme. After the cultural programmes we moved to the games. The games like  musical chair , Lemon and spoon etc. were conducted. The 'tug of war' or Vadamvali brought out a different level of excitement from the students. The  most impressive part of the celebration was the grand feast called Onasadya. A massive onasadya was served for the entire college. The college gave  festive look with the beautiful pookalams and the women in traditional attire of Kerala saree respectively. The festival teaches the lesson of brotherhood , happiness, sharing , sacrifice and contentment.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION - 2017

                                                                                      70th Independence day was celebrated in our college , Sree  Narayana Guru Kripa on 16th August 2017. We began the programme with a prayer song, followed by a welcome speech by Sneha. The chief guest of the function Mr. Saharajan sir gave his greetings and also shares his ideas on freedom. He told students about the supreme sacrifices of the great heroes for the sake of freedom. After that our principal Mrs.Vimala Kumari , addressed the students and gave independence day message. She advised the students to become ideal citizens of the country. Some student representatives viz. Ansi and Dhanya , highlighted the significance of the day in English and Malayalam respectively. HIROSHIMA NAGASAKI DAY - 2017

WAR NEVER AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN WAR!              Hiroshima day is not a day of celebration ; it is a day of remembrance. The Hiroshima Nagasaki day was observed in our college , Sree Narayana Guru Kripa on August 6,2017. The event was organized in order to sensitize the students about the atomic bomb blast that took place in the Japanese city of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.                              We started off with some thought provoking anti-nuclear posters and also with some newspaper cuttings. These posters and paper cuttings help the students to know more about the atomic bombing that took place in Hiroshima, during the second world war and the repercussions it had on the people. Few students from my class made paper cranes depicting the Japanese symbol of peace and harmony. The day reminds all of us our duty to work together in order to spread the message of mutual respect, peace and harmony. Towards the end of the programme. Mrs.Jaithra, the tutor asks the student
